I really like Panasonic phones. They've never let me down. I was in the telephone business for 35 years (GTE) and knew what was needed. This particular system was purchased for my Step-mom who is elderly and has a hard time getting around because of a balance problem. This system makes things way easier for her to make and answer phone calls. The satellite handset is now on an end table next to her favorite chair and she doesn't have to get up and hobble to the old "steam driven" corded phone she had. She can even retrieve answering machine messages from it. Nice back lighting and large text in display help her a lot. Ringer is plenty loud enough and volume control make conversation comfortable for her.Battery life is great. I received phones at my home in CA., charged them, programmed them , then shipped to her home in WA. That took 6 days. Phones still had plenty of juice when they arrived at her home. All she had to do was plug 'em in! That's what I was looking for. Great phones!
