Yet, another winner from Panasonic. This is my 5th. Panasonic phone in 18 years. All my past Panasonic phones still worked like new when I replaced them. Just always had to upgrade. This model is no exception. Great features and good sound quality. Easy to set-up and use. The call quality is very clear and good. The speaker phone function is also clear. The digital answering machine is simple to use and sounds fantastic. The range of this cordless is very good. Plus if you're close to the base unit, it goes into ECO mode automatically, swicthing to full power when you are away from the base. Saving your battery life! Panasonic is probably the only quality cordless phone maker at the the moment. It seems all their competitors have cut their quality enormously! Glad to see Panasonic still puts quality before price. Considering their phones usely cost only slightly more than the competition, Panasonic is a no-brainer. If you buy brand X, and get only 1 to 1.5 years out of it, what have you saved? If a Panasonic last 4 to 5 years, you're saving a lot. It'll pay for itself in the long run. Another plus with Panasonic is the batteries. They only use standard AAA rechargeable batteries, that you can buy in any store, if they need replaced. Unlike most other brands that use proprietary battery packs, that cost a fortune to replace, if you can even find the right one in the store.
