I use this bluetooth phone system with one cell phone. I place the cell phone in my home on the upper level, in the one room that has the best signal. I placed one Panasonic phone on the upper level and the other Panasonic phone on the lower level of the home. I can now conveniently answer the phone anywhere in the house with good reception and sound quality. I can also carry a cordless phone when I walk to my mailbox, about 200 feet away, without any noticible change in the call quality.
