What is DECT

Digital Enhanced Cordless Technology (DECT) cordless phones are phones that can be used to talk around the house. the technology used in previous models led to a cordless phone sound quality was not great. with digital technology, the sound is now crystal clear, like that of a wired telephone.
The range depends on the mobile phone. the point of the cordless phone is that you can walk around free from the base station. Most cordless phones have a range of about 300 meters (about 984 feet), but the new digital technology is updated daily to expand that range.
You can also talk to another person inside the house, using DECT phones, a little 'device like a walkie-talkie. battery life depends on the amount of money spent on the phone. more expensive laptops, let you talk for about eight hours on a single charge. when not in use, the laptops can hold a charge for about 100 hours. most DECT telephones equipped with a battery alarm that signals when the battery is low.
Cordless phones have come a long way in the project since the early days. DECT phones are very stylish and come in a wide range of designs. some top range of DECT phones will cost you a lot of money for the project alone. DECT phones are high-budget made by some of the best technology available to producers - who are leading well-known names in other fields, such as audio and video equipment. designs are sometimes surprising, but so are the price tags.          There are only so many functions that a DECT phone can play, so high end phones are not so different from budget models. the only difference will probably be the quality of design. Some now look like flip phones dect phones with backlit buttons, text functions and access to e-mail. the most important factor with a DECT phone is the sound quality. if this is not up, then all the money spent could have gone more towards design.
