          I purchased this model by mistake. Fortunately, I liked it when I got the package and it was too much trouble to return so I kept it. Very satisfied with this phone. Slim, easy to handle and looks nice. Wasn't worth the hassle to return. The only difference between this and the model I wanted is shape. No big deal, this phone is fine.

We had an older wireless phone system. Luckily, I was setting up a wireless phone system for a relative, and found that the new systems shared one phone book. The old system had a varying list on each phone.

I also found that different brands of wireless systems may or may not be compatable with cable based phone systems (in this case, Vonage). I found that the AT&T system was compatable with Vonage, and set up easily.

          The reception whether through the earpiece or speakerphone is clear, though not crystal clear like a landline connection. The handset volume is somewhat limited even when set at max. The unified phonebook and the ability to check answering machine messages through the handsets is very convenient. The ability to have separate phonebooks for each handset is potentially useful, too. Phones can be assigned names and wallpapers so they don't get mixed up. The ability to page handsets is a great way for my wife to order me to get her a cup of juice from across the house. The handsets themselves have a great, light feel and the hard plastic buttons have good tactile feedback, unlike rubber buttons. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and highly recommend it. It's a dependable, comfortable, handsome, and feature-rich phone system.

          I bought this phone to go with a new VOIP service, and it works perfectly. The added benefits of the Bluetooth connectivity for two cell phones is awesome. When I get home, I turn off my BT headset, and when I walk into the house, by the time I get to the first handset in the kitchen, it is already connected. I use the second BT connection for friends when they visit and they love it! The Voice Announce Caller ID is flawless and a very nice feature. I used to have to remember to bring my cell phone into the bedroom at night when I am on-call for work, but now I can just leave it in the charger and the VTech rings if I get a call. I use voicemail, so I can't speak to the digital answering machine since I don't use it, but I'd have to bet it is as sweet as the rest of the features, like the handset to handset intercom and the many configurable settings like separate ringtones for each handset, and different ringtones for when the call is from a cell phone, plus other settings that I won't get into to keep this review from rambling too much more. Combine all that with the sleek, slim design, and very reasonable price, and you can't beat this phone for price / performance. As for the first reviewers negative comment about the sound quality, he needs to read the manual and change the audio setting. I found that to me it sounds best with the treble maxed and bass turned way down.

          Given the fact you get 3 handsets in one low price, I was already pretty happy with that. But the ease of use and the decent quality of the phone itself made it truly a worthwhile buy.
          The sound quality is decent, and it was actually better than my previous GE phones. The speakerphone works very well and the audio is much clearer than my old phones as well. I also like the fact the buttons are big and easy to press. It's not the smallest or sleekest landline phone on the market, but overall it's not too bad. The phone is pretty thin, though it isn't very small (it's got a fair amount of length to it).          
          The answering machine is easy to use/figure out and the display screen is bright and easy to read. The main base of the phone is fairly small and does not eat up a lot of space on your desk or table. The bases on the extra handsets are even smaller (which is great IMO).
          All in all it's a very decent package for anyone who's looking for a decent landline phone that comes packed with additional handsets, rather than having to pay for extra ones.

          I am more please with this phone set that I can say. The speaker phone works great and the range is awesome. I wanted this set because of the intercom feature and it turns out the range is so good that I can keep a handset way out in my shop and my wife and I use the intercom system to communicate so we don't have to use our cell phone if we need to ask each other a question. And, in my shop, the sound quality is as good as it is in the house. The other great feature I was not expecting is the ability to retrieve messages from any handset so I do not have to go to the recorder to check for and retrieve a message. I can just sit there and play and or delete messages from where ever I am at.
          I cannot think of a negative thing to say!

The distance I wanted covered was 110 steps from the base to the other phone; I guess good 40 - 50 yards. The location is in between town houses therefore there was lot of blockage of the signal. I initially bought Uniden DECT 1580 but it still gave crackling interference. Then I got this phone 3380 system. I bought 2 of them, registered both repeaters to the home base and it worked. It coverd the distance.

Handsets are nice and small, except the back light could be bit brighter.
I suggest if you need another handset or repeater, just buy 2 system. U will be paying maybe 20 more but you will have extra base.

          My husband just got these phones for me for Mother's Day and I LOVE them. I am a long time Panasonic cordless phone system user and am always happy with the new features and improvements. The bluetooth is the reason to get this model obviously. So easy to link your cell up to the phone system. I no longer have to run downstairs or across the house to answer my cell. I was able to copy my entire phonebook/contacts from my cell into the phone system which is soooo convienent! The system holds around 3,000 number in the phonebook. I can access any of those numbers from any handset and use either my LAN line or cell through the home handset. This is nice because it is so much more comfortable to talk from the home handset than my cell and I don't have to look up a number on my cell then dial it from my house phone. I look up the number, and either press TALK to go through the LAN line or press CELL to dial through my cell phone. You can also check answering machine messages through the handset which is nice when you may not want to play then in front of visitors. You can also record your answering machine greeting from any handset as well. Nice big easy to read display which is important as my eyes are not as good as they used to be! The handset is backlit when dialing so you can see what you are dialing even in the dark. It is a nice compact base and the color is charcoal gray and black which is fine with me. Also, each handset has speakerphone which I use regularly and never get any complaints. Hope this was helpful and that you purchase these phone and love them as I do.
